Goodbye Winter Blues, hello Spring! This is such a beautiful time of year, the days are longer, the temperature is warmer, flowers start to bloom, there is more fresh produce available and everyone seems happier.
So how can we make the most of the change in season? Here are 5 tips:
1. Get outside
Being outside is great for lifting your mood. Now you can enjoy lunchtime walks or after dinner strolls. Getting your Vitamin D naturally reduces brain fog and improves wellbeing
2. Socialise
It is so much easier to spend time with family and friends when the days are longer and lighter. Extra daylight gives us more energy too. Don’t put it off, make plans!
3. Enjoy the garden
Appreciate the beauty in nature, boost your self-care by being mindful and observing what Spring has to offer. (If you don’t have a garden, take full advantage of someone else’s.)
4. Spring Clean
Take some time to clear out what you no longer need, make room for something new or simply re-organise your space. This can give your mood a boost and increase motivation and productivity.
5. Be smart with the extra daylight
Consider fitting in a new activity. Spring is all about the new. What are you passionate about? What one thing could you find time to do now that would make you feel happier this season? Making the best use of the extra daylight can help you be more productive too.
