The Pain Phoenix
“Casually looking in the rear-view mirror, I suddenly froze in my seat, as I watched the car hurtle towards me at breakneck speed. It ploughed into the back of my stationary BMW, changing my life forever. The crunch of metal on metal was louder than I believed possible and this distracting thought occupied my mind whilst my body was flung forward and snapped back against the resistance of my seat-belt. The silence that ensued was eerie yet peaceful as I found myself mentally counting from one to five, unwilling to immediately assess any potential damage either to myself or my old beamer.”
This was the pivotal moment where my life changed course.
The Pain Phoenix - from Injury to Insight is the story of my healing journey and how I combined my clinical background with more holistic approaches and created a formula to change my experience of pain.
In the Pain Phoenix, I break my system down into simple steps that anyone living with pain can follow in order to reduce their experience of pain, improve their self-care and refocus their attention on achieving their goals and reclaiming their lives.
